My current reading is looking different types of housing and house of currently un-utilised spaces. There is a lot of very interesting work already going on, the case study about the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) retrofiting a green roof atop its Washington, DC, brownstone headquarters was really interesting. The space (3300-square-foot) takes all ecologically issues into consideration, yet is welcoming and interesting in its design.
